The Rena OEM ARTEICH Circulating water pump has everything you need for a variety of applications including tank circulation, de-watering, fountain, and aquarium applications. This pump comes complete with a Rena OEM 400 gph water pump, tubing adapters plus two intakes. One intake has a built-in flow control and the other can be used to convert the pump to in-line use. The pump is easy to install just submerse in the water and attach tubing to one of three discharge adapters included. This pump is ideal for container gardens, fountains, aquarium sumps or general fluid transfer needs. Container gardens and fountains are attractive to birds and other wild animals but function as an aerator for small pools with fish and plants. Especially beneficial if you live in a warm climate where dissolved oxygen escapes during hot weather leaving fish in distress.

Does this pump come with any filtration for the water intake.

What you see on the front of the pump is a filter with a built-in flow control. This filter prevents larger debris such as leaves or chunks of dirt from entering the pump. If you are talking about some type of attached foam filter this pump does not come with that.
