Strainer for 600, 40/20 pumps #ADE600-04 and others

Question

Q: I have a small pump for the fountain in my "whiskey barrel" patio pond. I used to by replacement Rena "Filter Foam M225" filters at a local water garden supply store, but they stopped carrying them. Will this strainer work for this pump? Thanks!

A: Yes, this strainer works for the Rena Flow 600 pump that has the filter on the front.

A: This strainer is used for a long ago discontinued Rena product line. We no longer have any foam filters. These filters remove very fine particulate but in most cases the strainer works well alone.
