For ultimate safety low-voltage AC is the answer. The New Rena OEM Low Voltage water pump w/transformer can replace many pumps with a 3-wire heavy cord. It can be used in both fountains and aquariums and is UL approved for indoor and covered patio use.
It is an ideal replacement for pumps with those bulky 3 wire grounded cords that are difficult to manage in a small tabletop fountain and also works great in smaller desktop aquariums and fountains. Recommended for use with clean water, the pump has a convenient side-mounted sliding switch for flow control.
Why You Need This
If you have an old pump that originally came with a bulky 3-prong plug/cord and was used indoors or on a covered patio area then the RO125-LV is an excellent replacement pump at an affordable price. The thinner cord is much easier to hide and arrange without disturbing the fountain basin. If you currently have a low-voltage pump with transformer in the same general flow rate of 65-100 gph (gallons per hour) this will work in many of these fountain and aquarium installations.

Why does your Rena OEM Low Voltage water pump come with a transformer? Can it be used by just hooking up to an existine 12V AC source?

A:
We don't offer components since these pumps are very inexpensive and we rarely have anyone that wants parts or is using the pump as a component in another system. They might work in other 12 volt systems depending on the size of the transformer.
