Extend the intake or discharge of the API/Rena Filstar deeper into your tank. Works best on newer versions of the API Filstar with the 2 piece outlet and tapered inlet tube. If you have a shallow water environment extending the discharge deeper into the tank is a must. NOTE: Outlet sprayer will not fit unless adapted.
Other Uses
Originally made for use with the Rena Fountain Head C6015. Each piece is 3 inches long. Works with many other Rena and API Aquarium Items. Dark Blue color is ideal for fountains and as inlet and/or extension for many Rena OEM and other brands of fountain/pond/utility pumps and filters. Also can be glued with silicone or PVC glue for tight fit if needed.

I just got the API filstar XP L and need to extend the inflow and outlet so they will be in the water. Will these work for my filter?

Yes, this works as well as several other items including Items: ACC840602-XP and AL180-11 for intake only.
