Q: Hello, how much bigger is the motor in the X2 compared to X3? I have a 60 gallon tank and have a 2X was thinking of putting a 3X motor lid in my current filter. Thank you

The physical size is the same. The flow is about 50gph more if you have both the motor and Filstar L rotor. If you use your current rotor the flow will be about the same. The motor coil itself does not add much flow.

We no longer have any gaskets or O-rings for the
Filstar. It was discontinued almost 5 years ago. All available parts are listed on our web site. If it is not listed we no longer have it. Sometimes gaskets and O-rings can be reconditioned and you might be able to find someone selling a used unit that you can use for parts.
